Kharma points to the rescue

Life is good. I went into surgery this morning expecting to get replumbed... turns out the ruptured cyst wasn't a ruptured cyst at all, but a blood clot. Yippie. Just a blood clot. Just a couple stitches. Granted, they're stitches in a place where I'd really rather not have stitches, but a few stitches beats the hell out of lots of stitches, "marsupialization" (that name just makes me laugh), and a catheter. Rock on.

I was under general anesthesia for the second time in my life. It's such a bizarre thing. When I wake up, it's like only a minute or two has passed. If I didn't remember being put on the operating table, I would have thought we were enroute to it when I woke. And SNOW! It snowed in my (relative) hood! All the tops of the hills around the valley are dusted. Mt. Diablo is simply gorgeous and has a few inches. Had it been a half degree colder, I betcha it would have snowed on my lawn. On my lawn, people. That hasn't happened since 1975 (and I was one hella excited 6 year old, I tell you). Instead, we just got non-sticking flurries.
